Truffles for Muscles
eat these truffles within 1 hr after workout
they support your muscle synthesis
Ingredients
1 cup of almonds soaked overnight;
0,5 cup finely graded coconut (grind it in a coffee grinder if not fine enough)
0,5 cup of ground hemp seed (if not finely graded, it's actually nicer);
2 cups of pitted dates soaked until soft;
1/2-1 cup cocoa powder for the balls (depending on your taste); and cocoa powder to roll the balls into;
2 table spoon collageen powder
Directions
Rinse and dry the soaked almonds on a clean towel. As you filter the dates, save the water, you need it to arrive to the right texture.
In a food processor, pulse the almonds and the dates until they are well blended. Add the rest of the ingredients, and pulse again while slowly adding some of the date water until the consistency of the mixture is fairly smooth.
You should be able to roll a ball between your hands and it should stick.
Roll the dough into small balls between your hands and then place them in a small ball with the left over cocoa powder. Shake them to help the cocoa powder stick on the surface.
Place the balls in the refrigerator for several hours so they can harden a bit.
They can support your muscle synthesis the most if you eat them within 1 hour after workout. (not all at once of course!)
