Why I like these positions
Once on a Friday I found myself limited by excruciating back pain with every move I took. I couldn't bend forward, couldn't lift anything up, not even my demanding toddler. I was alone for the entire weekend, and I was going to give a workshop on Sunday. With these stretches I was up and running again by Sunday. Ever since I've practiced them regularly to prevent reoccurrence and it never happened again.
