This exercise, the so called Shining Scull Breath is an ancient yoga practice. It takes 2 minutes. It's excellent to do in the evenings if you want to improve your sleep. It clears your mind and helps regulating your cortisol levels. If 2 minutes is to much in the beginning, build it up gradually starting with 30 repetition.

EXERCISE to stop energy leaks:

1. When you are in bed at night, before falling asleep notice who or what you are thinking about, worrying about or obsessed with. What thoughts, emotions, events or people keep coming into your mind? Are any emotions or thoughts obsessing you? See whom you are holding resentments against.

2. When you find these areas, you must call your spirit back. One way to do this is by using your will and your power of intent to call back the parts of you that are caught in past or present situations that don’t serve your highest good. It is helpful to do this out loud. Simply state: “Spirit, come back here- I need you with me.”

3. As you are calling your spirit back, it also helps to affirm your spiritual connection verbally. Repeat the following affirmation, really feeling the truth of it:

“I’m always being Divinely guided toward my Highest Good on all levels. Divine love now dissolves everything that is not on my Divinely designed path.”

(The split-off parts of yourself, if you have them, most likely won’t come back, but they will respond to your efforts and your energy will return.)

 

There is a typical patriarchal misunderstanding around the 7 energy centres that suggest that the upper chakras are more important or holier than the lower ones, and that spiritual needs are more worthy than physical needs. Guided Meditation

Most of the blockages in our energy systems are emotional in nature. It’s helpful to think of your energy system as being like a stream of water flowing along. As long a this energy flow is healthy and you are feeling good about yourself, there’s much less risk of disease.

In each chakra area there are two basic polarities or extremes that are associated with ill health. To stay healthy or to regain our health in a certain area, we must learn how to strike a healthy balance between the two extremes of emotional expression represented in each area. We want to develop a full repertory of skills encompassing the entire range of emotional expression.

So as you work through the chakras, notice which ones you would like to spend less time on and examine why.
